alright... got a chance to sneek of to my room and take a peek... all i can say is wow. you never cease to amaze me... i cant wait to see how the second kerfed baffle goes on... is going to be SICK!!! i get excited all over again everytime you post up pics of the progress... A+ sir

They are about 1/16" of an inch from being all the way through...

It actually breaks easier if you dont go deep enough.... Believe it or not...

are you serious? have you seen the design? you would have to drop that thing off the empire state building to even make a dent in it... the key to kerfing is rebonding the cuts after you make the bend... they arent just left like that... u fill the gaps with a permiating bonding agent in this case wood glue). this actually makes the area being kerfed stronger than the wood around it. the mdf (trupan in this case) soaks up the glue with capillary action and when the glue dries makes the wood stronger than it was in its original state.
