That box would have been flexing like crazy otherwise!

Looks good, BUT

We like threaded rods around here, not tha 2x4 bullshit!

Yes they do, they just take up more space and disturb the airflow more than threaded rods but it will be fine. Nice looking box

Sometimes they break loose. I've even seen screws snap.

I have boxes for 8in subs that are built better and this is for 18s

come on man ever wonder why boxes that are prefab are so hated?

also your asking if more bracing is needed?

each brace takes away internal volume im sure you told yourself at this boxes build begining that you would leave enough room for however many braces others told you to install inside the box?

newsflash box started on paper at 4cft tuned at 35hz ended at 3.6cft tuned to 42hz, lol

As I said earlier, the entire box shoud be double layered.

I've never built a box for two 18"s so you're right, I don't know how much bracing I'll need. This is a build for a guy who couldn't find anyone local. I'm hardly charging for labor.

I planned for bracing in the design.

This box is hardly prefab. You can brace a box well enough to not warrant double layered panels. I'm not saying my box proves this theory, but it can be done.

I would like to see your boxes that are better built. You're all talk.
