Oh in no way is this a call out. I am certain all is good. I would not have went with him if I even had a hint of something going bad. He is a great guy and has helped me out with this box and subs and helped me get great deals so I appreciate what he has done for me alot. But I mean this has been over a 2 month build and well it was suppose to be shipped on a date and I guess it was not and I cant get ahold of him to see if there is an issue nothing more. Not mad just looking for some kinda info...Don is usually pretty good about this stuff...
Then don is the way to go. All other builders on this site wanted double what don wanted and I know it would not have look as nice and well it would have been built out of heavy azz mdf which is cheaper then birch but yet they wanted double the price??? Makes no sence other then money hungry..I lost contact with my old builder so I have been looking for a new one...
Your one of the new guys... Havent got around to getting prices from you yet lol... I need to find a tester for my new sub so I can figure out what it needs though...Dang!!!!! I hope I am not included in this other builder too high stuff........because I am doing up to 3.5 cube enclosures for $99.00 plus shipping.........Take $99 and subtract wood, carpet, speaker wire, glue, terminal cup, screws, and not to mention the HOURS to build most enclosures if you want them to look good and that doesn't leave much money.......In the next few days I am going to build a few enclosures out of cabinet grade plywood and upload pics.......Stronger and lighter than MDF.....The reason most of my enclosures are MDF is because someone has most people convinced that it's the only wood for speaker boxes.......Back in the 90s when I was winning comps it was with a Particle board box that was properly built and braced.......thanks guys
This box was paid for well before you got here so I never got a quote from you.... So you are not included //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gifDang!!!!! When I figure out what I need Ill message you...Thanks guys......I am going to try and keep my prices as cheap as I can but yet keep QUALITY up.........Usually those 2 things don't go hand in hand!!!! lol
Box is beautiful and is wanging in Dennis' car as of last weekend. Cutouts for subs were WAY too small though, but we worked through that...thanks for the concern BUT that piece is the top baffle. i should have noted that. but hey! ITS DONE here are more pics:![]()

attached with t-nuts, NOTE weather stripping was used on other edge. the port is detachable in which in the future IF he wanted a higher tuning i could make him another port, as in going with different subs/goals
