Just asking I have always done it with a DMM and a Clamp meter and I have a friend that tested the 500.1 on most he got was 3700 at .5 dont remember his impedence rise though...

i was just setting with a dmm to get a general idea, after i spend some more time on it i'll do it by ear. The subs seem like they are taking the power alright (as far as i can tell, honestly my car rattles like a *****). Wish i had a clamp to set the gains with, but its the best i can do @ the moment.

either way, it sounds great when listening to music @ lower volumes, and gets very loud when i crank it up, which is all i really wanted.

w/ a 45hz tone.

A couple of the people at the shop thought it felt louder though, there is another guy w/ an explorer running 4 15" Kicker L7s on a memphis 4k that hit 149 and change and they said my setup moves ALOT more air than his, which is odd because i think his peaks @ 41hz.
