***Box Build-External port 2.5 cube

Well I woke up today and decided to design up a box for a 12" Type R I had sittin around for a while. Decided to do an external port so I can swap it for a different one to change the tuning if I want. This one is tuned to 37Hz. Hopefully I can sell or trade my 12" RL-Ps so I can get an 18, hopefully an SX or Q and do a semi-wall in my car. Well on to the pics.......

put half the port inside the box so that its as tall as the woofer when its inverted

Real good, it can almost get as loud as my RL-P's, and I was definately suprised with the sq out of it. It should hold me over for a little while, atleast until I can get an 18.

Good idea but then it would reduce the volume of the enclosure by a bit.

Its 14x26x16 with a 4x8 port that is 19 inches long.
