like i said i can get crazyer but if you aint going to make them apper then whats the poing in making them so sofisticated. i made these for a member here for the same woofer

There is an angled spacer between the door skin and the speakers. Go on eBay and get speaker adapters that will allow you to mount the aftermarket speakers to that spacer. They're like $7. Using a flat baffle in the Neon will eliminate almost all the available mounting depth in the door because there is not a lot of clearance between the door skin and the window when it's rolled down. Fitting 6 3/4 is simple. They're notionally the same size as 6.5s anyway.

helo, do u recommend that i get the adapter or is it ok by itself? id rather save money since im broke after buyin this system

i found this...

will they work with this?

in a 2002 Dodge Neon SXT

i wonder if it is okay without the adapter... if not, i need to get this asap

the ebay link you posted looked like spacers what size speakers did you buy and what size does your car take. Cant you just return them to the place you bought them and get the correct size?
