Bought a HU used. Of course it wasn't headache free!

What a great first post. Me asking a question. Surprise!

So, I hit up Amazon and got a used Eclipse CD3200 figuring it couldn't be too bad off. And it was $150, so the price was right.

I got the package today. It shipped in the product box. In other words, the way it looks when its on the shelf is the way it looked when it was on my porch.

Open the box and start checking to see if everything is there and in good physical shape. Aaaand the shipper sent the wrong faceplate. I got one for the CD7200mkII. Am I correct in thinking it won't just work?

Provided he has an amp on his sub stage and one for his speakers. That HU has no internal amp.

Nope and nope. The sticker on the bottom of the chassis identifies it as the CD3200.

I WISH it was in fact the mkIII. I'd just use the 4 channel we already have and pick up a cheapish component set.

I may still do that...
