Sorry for the thread jack; I always thought it was more appropriate to add on to another thread on the same topic rather than start a new thread. Of course, that point is moot since I did start a new thread.

Would 210W (@3 ohms) going to each Z6 woofer and 110W (@3ohms) going to each tweeter be enough to power them? Is their still a large difference between the Z's and Pro's at lower-mid listening levels? I went to Sound Advice to listen to them side by side, but the Z6's sounded like crap due to the fact that they are only giving them 40W!!! All you can hear is the tweeter, the woofer doesnt even move with the volume knob maxxed out. The Pro's sounded much better than the Z's with this power, but were obviously still lacking....So my question is would the amps mentioned above be enough for the Z's or would I be better off with the Pro's, new amps aren't really an option either as I recently purchased them....Thanks.

That should be more than enough to run the Z6's. Like I said, I have the JL 450/4 running them; 150 watts to each midwoofer, and 75 to each tweeter, and they sound great.

Before reading different forums I was using 75 watts (rating @ 4 ohms) and I was disappointed with the sound, my older Pro's Sounded better. Recently I have played around with different amplifers powering my Z5's (75, 85, 185, 245, and biamped 85/85 and 85/185). In generally I would pick an amplier with around 200watt (4 Ohm rating) I really liked the biamped setups much better for fine tuning.
