BEFORE YOU CHEW ME OUT I KNOW IT'S A ****** AMP. My friends have it and keep saying it's way better than my two alpine 700 watt amps. I know boss overrates their amps by a lot. If you already have this amp just hook it up.... Who knows it could be loud and that would show your friends up

If your asking about buying this amp don't waste your money. But I'm not going to be a hater and if you already have this amp it will cost you nothing to hook it up and find out how it does. I remember a buddy I had he would always use good subs and buy a shittt amp. But he was always loud. Might have been his hatchback car but 16 years ago he hit 140+ with a boss or a legacy amp. Lol you never know what will happen till ya hook it up. Again if your looking to buy a amp skip this brand.

Tell him you're only trying to help. It's a $100 500w amp. Plain and simple.

Decent quality $100 amps are 200-300w rms.

Decent quality 500w rms amps are $150-200.

In 5 yrs when your alpines are still working like new and he's on his 3rd boss because the other two failed -- maybe he'll understand.
