Bose impedence?

Well, my new speakers are taking longer to get in than I had hoped so I'm going to have to live with my old bose speakers for a couple days. I was just going to run these speakers off my amp but I had heard the speakers are like .5 ohms? I really don't mind blowing the speakers but I would like to keep the amp for a little longer =P Anyway, anyone know if there is any validity to the .5 ohm thing? I looked on the speaker and it didn't say. Thanks!

Use a multi meter to check the impedance, if you have one.

Don't do it!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes bose factory speakers have a widely varing ohm rating, just depends on the factory setup and year of your car.
