Alpine or Eclipse?

It is hard to say if one is better than the other, they both have their high and low points. But personally with the cost difference, I would have to say Alpine gets my overall respect out of the two.

The cost difference? I don't see Eclipse being more expensive than Alpine.

I would take Eclipse over Alpine.

Subs - Eclipse

Head units - Undecided

Components / speakers - Eclipse

Amps - Undecided

TV/Screens - Undecided

Just my opinion. Too close to call in most cases. Eclipse is right up there.

Eclipse, Alpine is just too over priced for what you get...and you dont get much realy

not to mention the fact that with some of the higher end alpine HUs you need a PHD to know how to operate those *****es.

Subs=Eclipse by far

Amps=Tie ( i hate them both) but eclipse are cheaper

HU=Eclipse by far (3 year warranty and 1 year theft protection as opposed to just 1 year warranty with alpine)

Speakers=You get the same for less money with Eclipse

We sell both at the shop, and i definaetly like eclipse way more over all

my cda-7995 took me an hour to read through the manual and set all the settings....

he was just stating that the eclipse HUs ALSO have time correction. And i think everyone would agree that eclipses are much easier to use, and you get alot more for your money.

Alpine is "king" in what regard?....sales? If so, is that how we should judge what is better? I don't think so. I would never say any brand is better than another because they are "king" in regard to sales or name recognition, etc.
