No you dont. Simply splice male RCA leads to the speaker leads of the harness, then plug into your preout section of your aftermarket HU.
Ok thanks. Can anyone else give me their opinions or facts...Is the above statement all ill need to do to save me $40? THis will allow me to run my BOSE amps off my aftermarket HU without blowin the deck because of the low ohm impedances correct... THANKS

I would just get the harness instead of cutting up the stock one. I mean why make life harder if you decide to return to stock to sell the car or w/e. A local shop will give it to you cheaper than that.

Who said anything about cutting up OEM? Get a Metra 70-7550 and add male RCA ends to the speaker leads. OR even simpler..try to find a Metra 70-7751.

Yes I do know this works as a fact. The link I provided you should show that quite in depth. Ive also done literally hundreds of Nissans/Infinitis this way.

Run the front speakers to a set of RCAs and the same to the rear and plug each set of RCAs to the front and rear inputs on the back of the aftermarket deck?

Get a harness to plug into your OEM harness. Instead of directly connecting speaker wire to speaker wire convert the speaker leads on the aftermarket harness to RCAs and plug them into the preout section of the HU. Should look like this..

or just buy that harness.
