BoogerMan's 12k Crossfire build in a 1998 Toyota T100 SR5

I met with the guy who is going to do my body work and welding.

We are doing a sunroof delete and repainting the roof, a new black headliner will be put in, welding steel across the roof, removing the according boot and welding steel in its place, and putting in a single piece rear window (right now the middle part slides open).

Then depending on how much it costs up to that point and if I need it, I may add in a steel support pole from the floor to the rear wall, from the floor to the front crossbrace, and replace the back window and rear side windows with plexiglass.

I got more pulled out of the truck today. I'm going to try to have everything out (box included) in the next two weeks then I'll drop the truck off at his shop for about the next month.

I'll post pics of all the welding work as things are being done

Going to finish pulling everything out of the truck next week then I'll be dropping it off at the body shop shortly after.

They are stable up to 18v too. These are beasts to say the least.

Yeah that make sense because the guts in my CF 4K make my SoundQubed 4500 guts look like a 3k lol.

Got the headliner, rear side wall panels, the old deck, and the box pulled out. Will be dropping the truck off at my buddies shop this week. Will post progress pics of the sunroof delete and steel bracing over the next month [emoji106]

Got all the subs in. Packaging was incredible. Very happy with these. Just need to order the speakers and 4 channels.

I'm going to stop by the shop today after work to check on the truck too. Things should really pick up in the next few weeks.

Yeah we definitely will. I'll be there! Awesome I can't wait to get a demo! It's a beautiful build. A couple of us were talking about it at our weekly meet tonight. The back is so clean! A few AZ guys should be able to make the trip out there for the show. If all goes well the truck will be there, and maybe the car if I can find someone to drive it. Should be a fun time and the cold weather is perfect for our gear haha.

I weighed one and it was about 60 lbs so the packing was 10 lbs! Nicely packed for sure!

I'm really excited to test out these subs. Beefiest sub I've ever owned, but I've only owned Rockford and SoundQubed haha. Should be a nice upgrade for me.

No updates on the truck. I need to pull off some more sound deader near the roof, floor, and blow through on Saturday. Then he is going to weld around the blow through first, then do the sunroof and roof bracing, and the stripper poles. We talked more about it tonight and it should turn out pretty solid.

Be pretty sweet if you had the amps silk screened the logo "X" blue to match the blue on the subs dustcaps.
