If the RF "Best Buy stuff" is crap (and believe me it's a huge turd) just say so, that's supposed to be the whole point of this thread. I got this RF junk from an online retailer (not Best Buy) and it SUCKS big time! That's very personal experience and a lot of it, by the way it wasn't cheap . So if we agree that Rockford Fosgate makes bogus bullshit products (at least in this case) are there other RF product lines that are better? Just help the thread and say "stay away from RFxxx... but the RFxxx... is good" It would lend tremendously to your credibility because defending a bullshit product makes you sound like a RF executive on a bullshit marketing campaign designed for idiots who actually shop at Best Buy.

By the way the 6x9s are RF T1692s ("Power Series" still sold today) I guess that's a bogus product also...

This thread is a grind! I'm just like the original poster and am looking for good quality.The first quality system I heard back in the 80s was Rockford Fosgate so when it came time to go big I went with Fosgate P8004 driving 4 Fosgate 6x9s and a P4002 driving 2 Fosgate 10s. WHAT A HUGE DISSAPOINTMENT! RF is not what they used to be! A Kraco would blow this system away. Yes it's loud but the sound quality absolutely SUCKS! I don't want to spend ridiculous amounts of money so if anyone can get back to the original posters question and advise on good quality for a reasonable price a lot of people reading this thread would really appreciate it Please don't bother chiming in on this cleansoundz you obviously have a vested interest in Fosgate, it's a shame how they have destroyed what used to be a good name. BTW if anyone wants to drink cleansoundz kool-aid, the above RF components have only a couple hours on them and are for sale cheap. Send me a pm with an offer:veryhapp:

LOL, I completely agree on this one. Remember often you do get what you pay for, the more expensive RF stuff is the better stuff.

I have a RF Punch 150 LE and I can assure you it woops the old Punch 150's *** in all respects. Depends on which of the stuff you buy. I don't know all the models, but generally the more expensive stuff is better.

agreed. you can't judge any equipment this way. it's a complete waste of time.
