If Bonds wasnt even close to breaking the record people wouldnt care if he was on roids or not, he would jus be an average player

Do you hear people complaining about Sammy Sosa? He took a year off, clearly got off the juice and no one cares, Canseco(who started all this Steroid crap), McGuire?? People give Bonds crap because hes dam close to breaking that record

In Barry's younger days when he was much smaller, he was a good player, and even all this crap with roids which I think its pretty obvious he was on em! It still takes some skill to hit that many HRs and play as long as he has!

Griffey missed out, and id agree, lets see what A-Rod can do

actually i just read an article about this the other day in the newspaper. it was saying that the record home run ball that was hit a few years back, is worht hardly anythnig now, compared to what the owner paid for it. and the record ballfor bonds breaking the all time record is reportedly worht only about 500 g's. although that is still alot

you beat me to it, but they were talking about that on espn radio the other day too. Marks homerun ball sold for 3 million when he hit it, now it's nothing. They're saying bonds' ball is lucky if it even gets half a million lol. but hey, that's still a pretty big payday just for going to a baseball game and catching a ball.

Griffey's injuries really are a shame (it's the swing we all wish we had). We'll see what A-Rod can do.

I couldn't agree with you more, but most people don't realize the hand-eye coordination it takes to even touch a major league pitcher's throw.

yeah to even hit the avg persons pitch is hard enough. but if you are on roids obvoiusly it will add more power. i wonder how many low to mid level home run guys have added to their numbers? unfortunately i dont think the public will ever know the extent of how little or much roids were used. quite frankly i dont want to know. nor do i really care. we pay them to entertain us. not to be ethical.

I'm not saying he doesn't use steroids(I say he does), it's just, as you get older your body gets bigger. Look at hockey players. They get drafted at 6'4" 180lbs. When they hit age 25-28 they are now 230lbs. Not unlike those 2 Bonds pics.

Griffey would of broke the worldwide homerun record had he stayed healthy. I think 900 would of been feasible. Still can break Bond's record if he has a late 30s and early 40s like Bonds.

Aackley, that is no where near the change bonds took on. bonds went from half a star to superstar body size. Arods size change is alot more believable than bonds without steriods.

Canseco now claims he has "stuff" on ARod and it'll be detailed in his new book coming out. Though I think it may be that ARod swings both ways...
