Bondo & Matte??

i am pretty much done with my fiberglassing and i ran outta resin. But i got a alot of bondo and extra matte from my resining process. Is there anyway i can combine the two? its like a bondo, with chopped up mat, mix. you can find it at walmart, HD. etc. good stuff to use.

i've never heard of mixing it yourself though.

bondo+fiberglass = not good.

the fiberglass needs to soak up the resin (they use epoxy-ish stuff in bondo) - but since the bondo is so thick, the glass wont absorb it, and it wont work well.

but try it if you must.

resin = teh best option period.

i know of a guy that made door pods out of just bondo and fiberglass... they fell apart after about a week

iv never had to glass over bondo, but it should stick. try it out on a small pice of card board,

Is this stuff strong when it dries like resin would? I just need to strengthen my mold and i wondering how should i do that? Or should i just glass more? The curves of the mold are okay i guess but the flat areas have some flex to them.
