its much much stronger, and much, much lighter. much less subsceptible to flex, and it has that (imo) please stain me instead of carpet me look to it. beyond that it is much easier to work with, but it splinters. It has its pros, and that splintering thing is one of the 2 cons.so in what ways is birch better than MDF? is it stronger, easier to work with, or cheaper? i havent really gave any second thought to different woods, but am curious how it compares to 3/4" MDF
the other is that it costs about twice as much,
