Yeah one of K-states offensive lineman was lifting that but I think he was a little bigger than 239.

Anybody see good results sans any kind of supplement/ I have been going to the gym for about a year and a half. I am 170 and bench about 170. My only supplement is food. It seems people get hardcore with this stuff.

First starting out, check out creatine. Its pretty common and is a good way to help increase mass and strength quickly.

I actually prefer not to use anything. I would just rather go with what god or genetics gave me. To me its not a contest, its just about staying healthy and hopefully gaining some strength.

Creatine is just to help replace alot of what gets exhausted during physical activity. I take vitamins, amino acids, and creatine. I think those all fall into the necessary category for very active people.

Thank You.

Ive been lifting for about 2yrs now.

Ive never done anytype of drugs or supplements.

All natural. I eat as Much as i Can. Big meal that included fast food jst lke a regular person. and work out harder than most people on supplements.

the problem with poeple that takes supplement is that, after being out of the gym for couple month, u body turn all that muscle into fat and it disappears.

Im now 22yrs old. 180lbs. I put up 235Maxed Out 5 reps. that includes both incline and decline.

and Im ripped to death.

As said previously Genetics have a lot to do with it.

thats pretty unbelieveable to be putting up 300 at 16 with no roids/prohoromones/test boosters/or any real suppliments
Whats so hard about that? I started lifting when I was 13 and did so all the way till I got into a nasty car wreck and had to do rehabiltation for better part of a year. I was lifting over 300 when I was 16 and by the time I was 18, I was doing well into the mid 400's. I also wasnt on anything what so ever nor was anybody else that I could tell. I mean I dont know what they do at home, but steriods and such were not so big back in the early 90's in my area. It just takes time, dedication and the right person to help train you. Hell my trainer was Tim Wolfe, who used to be a light weight champion bodybuilder. Come to think of it, that was the only thing I took was a good multi vitamin and drink plenty of water and just worked up for hours upon hours and I ended up getting pretty big. Like I said though everything changed after the accident. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Exactly. Its not a huge accomplishment to be lifting 275 at 16, not everyone has the dedication it takes.

The only thing I know for sure about creatine is that I gained about 15-20 pounds on it. Who knows if it actually helped me lift harder or not. I'm guessing it just helped me put on some weight, then the rest was up to me.

Don't I know this. I am not exactly bred from powerful stock so I have to work extra hard just to get a little. Unfortunately I do not have the time to spend hours upon hours in the gym.

to the OP::

Steroids ftl... do u have any idea what they do to the delicate hormonal balance in ur body? Even once cycle will **** u up for... quite some time if not for longer. IF ur body is supplemented with "artificial" steroids, the body will stop producing them trying to reach homeostasis [balance] of its hormones etc...

mmmeeeeeehhhhhhhhhhh....
