BMW Peoples?

I drive a 2001 BMW 525i. I want to get an in-dash, but the thing that flips open n shit, would be blocking it, when the in-dash would be opened. Anyway to fix this?

the average quality indash tv will extend past that little door as it does not stick out that far in the grand scheme of things

I know what ya mean assuming its similar to the E60s. you would need to custom fabricate it and have the unit stick out farther. Fiberglassing ftl

then dont buy the indash

no its nothing similar to the e60s... the e60 has the idrive screen and hump and the only way to put a cd player in it is to custom fabricate it in the stock cd player housing thing on the bottom which totally isnt worth it unless you dont have logic 7. the e39 has that push and flip out thing for the "business" cd player. the only way i can think to make it work is to basically make it stick out farther or remove that flipping out panel.
