BMW e46 3 series sedan

Just inherited a new car, a 2000 bmw 328 sedan. Boy the factory stereo sucks and I cannot wait to transfer my system from old car over. Anyone here have experience with the 328 or newer 330 sedan made from 99-03. What size speakers are up front and rear. Kick panels available? The doors and interior seem VERY solid, perhaps dynamat is only needed in the trunk? Anyone remove the factory trunk cd changer that takes up tons of space? Really love to find out soon as I do not want to take off the door panels on this car like I would on my old 96 maxima!
