Bluetooth - Google Maps

Hi

I have an Alpine UTE-93DAB Head unit which works fine in most ways but I have a problem when using Google Maps on my Iphone via Bluetooth.

The issue is when Google Maps sends a voice instruction to the head unit there is a delay before the head unit switches to bluetooth mode so half the instruction is missed, sometimes the whole instruction is missed,

It's not a phone issue as the phone connects and works fine with two other vehicles.

Anyone got any ideas?

I tried to update the head unit firmware but it is already on the latest vesion!
