Blue Leds under car illegal in virginia?

I mounted some Blue Leds underneath the front of my scion xb, to illuminate a small portion of the ground in front of the car, is this illegal?

As far as I know you cant run any of those lights while you are driving. There are so many **** laws here in VA.

I know in florida any colors that resemble police or emergency colors are ILLEGAL. blue/red or oranges/pinks/purples that look similar. besides neons look gay.. they look ok inside the car in certain places as long as they are placed properly..

It depends on the town.. every town has its own ordinances.. i use to run them back in the day and was told diff things by diff cops.. only white and amber fwd, no emergency vehicle colors, they are ok if you cant see the bulbs.. just ask a cop in your towna nd see what he says

Lol, i agree it may look silly, but i just wanted to try it out. Im still waiting for night time....if it looks like shit, then i suppose i use them inside the vehicle as foot lights or sum shit

4513.13 Cowl, fender, and back-up lights.

(A) Any motor vehicle may be equipped with cowl or fender lights which shall emit a white or amber light without glare.

Any motor vehicle may be equipped with lights on each side thereof which shall emit a white or amber light without glare.

Any motor vehicle may be equipped with back-up lights, either separately or in combination with another light. No back-up lights shall be continuously lighted when the motor vehicle is in forward motion.

(B) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.

Amended by 128th General Assembly File No. 9, HB 1, § 101.01, eff. 10/16/2009.

well guys, i checked how it looked at nighttime, and it looked like gay sh1t. Im just gonna make it so they light up the grill of the car instead.
