Blown Aux Input

WHen I goto AUX input all i hear is a clicking noise. What could I have fried to do this. Im thinking about taking it apart and maybe replacing some components. What would possibly have gotten fried? A capasitor, resistor, or should i look for somthing else? I'm doing this on a clarion dxz955mc. I have a different Head Unit that I could take parts out.
