Blew the amp?

So I'm assuming I blew the amp just was having a bad day and swapped out my amps and got my hifonics hooked up I recersed wires and put positive to ground it sparked and then I realized amp will not come on I checked both fuses and replaced the amp fuse just to make sure still nothing guess I just blew my 200 dollar hifonics?

u blew it up!!! Never touch positive and ground together

Yea not like it was a super nice amp only downfall is I had it sold to some local guy for 150 bucks and was hooking it up just to test it out before we made the deal..... Guess that's my loss

Maybe worth $50 now..most likely at least $100 in repairs since it was juiced //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif always triple check all connections before applying power ....

No, Most likely you only popped your fuses. take em out and see, betting its blown. If you replace it, it should still work fine.

Very probably the fuse was way too big to protect the amp.

I've changed fuses on amp still nothing and the fuse at battery side was fine it's a 200 amp fuse at the battery side it's for my bigger amp was just hooking this thing up to test definitely kind of upsetting as I was using this money for my new taramp dsp3000 guess it's coming out of pocket now //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rage.gif.0ad8a6e5565b5fddce406566fdd05149.gif
