blew my sisters sub and need a new one

i was using my sisters 12" idq for a while until i get my system back up and running. and of course i did a stupid mistake i bridged the amp(putting out near 500 watts) when i should've only used a single channle(250 watts) on a 2channel amp. so the tinsle leads broke right at the cone and theres no way of soldering them back together. and she doesnt know bout it yet so im going to try and get things fixed before she knows:crap:

so my question is should i get it reconed from ID for bout $85 and dont know when ill get it back or should i get something else like an assassin? LMK

take the dustcap off and solder in new tinsels woudl be what I woudl do.

ask them about recoen turnaround time.

if anyone has had a idq reconned what is the turn around time? ive tried calling them the last 2 days a no one answers might be because their moving locations?

Yep yep...they're relocating. They have to move all the heavy equipment to a new location. Just keep calling.
