Blew Fuse in Fuse Holder

question is, why did the fuse blow?
100amp fuse. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif

I went and bought a bigger fuse and fuse holder today. Up grading to 1 guage wire once I get ahold of my friend. New alternator in a couple weeks as well. Hopefully my electrical problems will be gone. I don't know why I asked this question, sorta common sense, I was in freak out mode though, since I had just bought my amp yesterday.

Umm, no?
If I were you, i'd get the fuse to blow you, not you blowing it.
