Blazer Set ups

I cant imagine 2 18's in a 2 door blazer. My single rl-p 18 in a bravada (4 door blazer) was more than enough to me. Do you have any room at all in the back after the box is in?

i believe he does. its basically a wall up to the the back seats IIRC.

btw, shiznilti, what was the specs on that first box for the btl?

i thought it was like 6.7 cubes @ 31 with 100^2 of port no? did you try something else? what was your favorite, if you tried something different for the btl?

gotcha. my crx style box that was 6.5 @ 30 took up a shitload of my hatch.

Every ones setups are nice.

Any pros on having a single 18" over say, maybe 2 12's or 15's?

A friend of mine told me do an 18" BTL with i think like 6 cubes, tuned to low 30's.

I want bass that people will feel down the block. Looking for SPL, not SQ. Ill get SQ outta my mids/highs. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

best results in a box I have had so far:

sub up port back port should be w/in 3-6" from back hatch

try that...

I have played around with some boxes in my 4 dr jimmy and have had very good results.

Deadening takes away from the meter...

and I prefer slot ports in my setups....

thats pretty much it...

what are you lookin to do?

First off new to the site .. Really love it ... Ok now i just bought a 86 blazer wanna do big things so my question is when i make my box which way to fire the speakers (Lay em flat up in the back ) ( Build a wall behind my sets firing towards my dash ) or Build a wall and fire em towards my rear) any help on this part would be great thanx all .. its a great start ...

I see alot of people running single 15 setups. Are they getting pretty loud or what? Im just biased on having at least two subs i guess... Maybe i should give it a try.

If I read this right, build a wall, and have your subs and port facing the front of the blazer.
