Blackhole tiles....Any alternatives?

I am in the midst of my build and I am sound deadening my doors. The "full baked potato" according to Dean and Fernando . I watched the video from sounds good stereo and they are using black hole tiles in addition to sound deadening mat. They are VERY proud of these as they are pricey. Anyone have an alternatives or other ideas?

I am using soundshield https://www.soundshieldusa.com/ as my main deadner. I would like to try something like the tiles but i am not willing to spend that kind of cash on it.
