Your ear isnt nearly as accurate as any measurement system. Just because the fr is flat doesn't mean it sounds good or has low distortion.

No dd woofer I've tested was remotly low distortion.

Terrible bl curves even worse cms curves.

Just because you or others don't understand driver design and physics and put parts together to get something decent still means the design is lacking..
