im running 13w7 off of a 1000/1 sealed in my extended cab . here's my problem i want something better ! i not sure if its better to go with a bigger sub or multiple subs or a different box. the volume its plays at is great i just want to hit deeper notes with more rumble in the bass. i've been thinking about going with a 15" or 18" but i've never heard or seen any thats better then the 13w7. Any suggestions?

whats the odds of getting the mt and wheres a good website to get one at
call resonant engineering to order directly from them. (702) 896 4823

like raven mentioned: the mt is for spl. it will be a big step down from the w7 as far as sq goes.

also, there is an xxx18 for sell in the used car audio section of this site(for a very good price).

port your 13w7.

A XXX18 is a better choice for a daily driver, even though you have a W7, I'm not sure you understand just how overkill a MT is for daily, especially when all you want is more low end than your W7. You probably want to throw a few thousand watts on the MT, 3000+ is no issue and the SQ would be very lacking from what your used to. The XXX would be quite a bit louder, especially on the low end and still keep most of the SQ you are accustomed to. If I was you, I'd just pick up another W7 unless you want to try something else.

I'm curious what your box specs currently are. If you want more SPL, you can up the amperage with little to no problems. I've seen a 13W7 run fine at 1500W RMS in a sealed box. Since you are running sealed, what type of Q are you running at. Ported with the same amp would give you a good 3db boost. Tune the box to 32-36Hz for some solid low end sound quality. If you change the sub, go with a XXX18 in a transmission line box. That will give you the best low tone quality you can find out of the XXX. Also, two 10W7s would easily put out more than the single 13W7 at the same wattage, even if you used a separate chamber for both subs. If you build a ported box, use a large volume vent style rather than a PVC pipe, it will cut down on the wind noise. Round off the edges of the ported area with a router at a .5" corner.

Ditto and well explained. Was going to say same thing so.....
