Big3 done (pics)

Alright well i did the big3 yesterday with Knu 1/0 wire and my lights dim much much less now, also i havent seen my voltage drop under 13.2 yet. Overall great relatively cheap upgrade that all should do. Also my car just feels better, seems to idle better and whatnot, dont know how to explain it.

wish I took pics of my big 3 before i took it all out. I had red and silver 0/2, paired up for each one, so it was like a big 3x2, lol. Looked seriously wicked.

i'd recommend fusing that battery to alternator wire close to the battery. unfused leads straight to the battery... not good. chances of it shorting out are slim sure, but if you rear end someone and fold your car in half... is that something you really want to be worrying about while you're crawling out of broken glass with half the bones in your body broken?

I'm fockin dying to get my rotary swapped B2200 so I can stuff a system in her. I will be mounting 2 bad *** alts, and relocating the battery, and adding a 2nd, and I'll have large wire ran like piping under the hood.

wasnt referring to screwing your stereo equipment, was saying you dont really want to be thinking "so is my battery short circuiting right now, melting wires and maybe starting a fire?"

I thought on the "big3" you wanted a ground wire to the chassis as well as to the block from the battery.Not just from the block to chassis.I did'nt see that in there.more like big two and a half.

And is that bare wire hanging out in pictures 2 and 4???Better tape those ends up or use some heat shrink.

Yea wire is taped now, i actually got a new battery today and my lights do not dim at all, it is way cool.
