Big three help

Okay, so I put a system in my fathers 99' Chevy Blazer LT for him (and me of course) and its been starting hard, and the lights dim when I have my DD slapping. So I am thinking it time for the big three. I need some help though! First I wasn't sure if I have to have a fuse between the alternator positive and the battery positive. I also need some recommendations on wire, I am on a tight budget, and just want to finish the project! Should I just get a new battery? Or should I do this and eventually get a new bat? I have a 1500 watt amp. Please put some links of cheap/ good battery terminals. Fuses, wire. Etc. Whatever I need, because I don't really know wires, and I have NO idea about fuses.. Haha! I need help here guys! Thanks!

I sell pre made big 3 kits. As far as it being fused that's up to you. Some say yes some say no a better battery would be a good idea but may not be necassary yet. If your battery is a side post terminal style. I have those for $20 shipped as well

Yee i have a paypal! And well thats good to hear! And the battery and the alternator are right next to each other too! So thatll be nice! Oh, do you have to run a 0 guage to your amp too?

My kits are made at any configuration up to 10' already crimped and ready to install. $45 for cca kits and $75 for ofc. $20 more if you want it fused. With 1500 rms a cca kit should be fine. Always 0 gauge wire to

Alright! Well, I'm glad that your honest about the kit I need! I hate when people try to screw you over! Do you recommend a fuse and is it worth the $20 to get the fuse?

If the rectifiers in your alternator fail or (as has happened to me) your PCM voltage control circuit fails, the alternator can send upwards of 60 volts through any circuit you have connected to it. If not fused, that means damaged equipment if you're lucky. If you're not lucky, you'll wind up in a fire.

Is a fuse worth $20.00? It can be worth 20 grand.

Yes this can happen not to likely on 1500 rms. bit the possibility is there

Agree 100%. Not worth the risk.
