big question about my system

[97' monte carlo]

ok i have a big problem, i am putting a Sony XPLOD CDX-M630 for a reciever that puts out 52x4. i am also replaceing the 51/2's in the front and the 6x9's in the back. Now the 6x9's put out 800 watts each. i am also putting in a 10 that has a 400 watt amp and the sub handles 400. But i would only use it at 300. so the problem is that i dont know if i should hook up the amp to the battery or the alternator. But i dont know how much amps my alternator can handle. i have a 97' monte carlo and i have no clue what to do. what would be the best thing.

800w 6x9s, may i b the 1st to say impressive lol F*CK THAT SH*T

400w sub and amp, rms or peak? either way should b fine on ur alt, correct me if im wrong

I you are asking whether to hook your amp up directly to the battery or to the alternator, always hook an amp up the the battery.

You can get 800w 6x9's by Pro Audio for around £30 on ebay they are powerfull but dont sound too great.
