big problem

i i just got my new amp and sub yesterday i insatlled it properly , the power led is ON on the amp, and the wirin seems fine , i jacked the + with the + and - with - on my 10 inch sub , but nothing is happening!! can someone help me with that , the battery is correctly connected , the remote too and the rca cable behind the radio are on the sub plugs! , if my amkp would have been blown the power wouldnt get in?? , can csomeone help me thanks!

What equipment are you using? Exact model numbers and quantites (i.e. do you have two subs or one sub)??

exaclty im using a dual amp 450 watts , and one lighting audio 10 inch sub in a q logic case with stinger cables

I'm going to resist commenting on that and just say exchange the amp for a new one cause it was DOA and if the new one doesn't work check all wiring, if it still doesn't work get a different brand

those dual amps are known for overrating their wattage.

ok so as im reading this everyone is saying that i got ****ed bbuying this, i bought this on ebay for 50$?? and whats the meaning of DOA , and how do we see if an amp is blown??

if is DOA it wont turn on, so its noy DOA. Triple check all the connections. It might be a bad RCA connection. Pull it out and put it back in, does it make a pop noise in the subs?

i checked the rca 4 time fromthe amp , to the radio , rechcked the remote , and the power is on so the 12v is well connected on the battery , i have 2 left +and- connection and 2 right +and- connection on the amp , i tried left posite and negative , i tried the same thing for right , and i also tried , left+ bridged with the right - so do you have another option??

do the rca thing.

if you have a spare rca liyin around plug one end in, then tap on the other end, you should hear a tone from your sub. See if that works, if it dosent your amp is busted
