i got 0.5 2 go til 145dbs
It is time to chose but i need advise i want a pair of Alpine Type S subs of either 10" or 12" taking into account that it is in a small hatchback each woiofer getting around 150 rms more later the box is exactly .8cubic feet per sub the boxes are separate so i can possition them to my tastes but i cant decide between 10 or 12 and i cant figure out if the box is going to sound good with a 12" because it is only .8 cuft before sub displacement. i will only have Alpine not any thing else so tell me what would be better 10 or 12 i like lots of DEEP clear bass but is the box big enuf for a 12

Thanks

Hey bro.!!

I think that the 12" should have enough room to sound good...

just a question, why is it that upicked the type s's over the r's?

I had a few type r's as my first system.....and.....wOw //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif I loved em.! THen i listened to my friends with also 2 12" type s subs...i still liked mine better //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif but dont get me wrong, his still hit pretty hard.!!

A few questions:

What amp are you running? (Do you already have it, or are you going to buy it?)

Are you absolutely limited to .8cu feet per sub?

Are you building the box, buying it, or do you already have it?

I'll have an idea of what you should do, IMO, after you answer these questions.

1 yes i am limeted to .8 cubic feet per enclosure

2 yes the amp is already in my possetion it is in my sig

3 sadly i have bought the 10"ers and the pound like hell with the amp mentionde above //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif :D //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif
