Makes things happen
So i have the mch1300 and for some reason it is running extremely hot, What usually causes this problem the sub side i am running a 4 ohm box and on the 4 channel side i am running 1-2 bridged and 3-4 bridged, Also sometimes the amp goes into protect and i am unsure the reason. Thanks in advance

Checked with dmm. 4.1 son sub 3.9 on each set, Ground conisists of a solid 4awg wire bolted to the gas tank frame (04 GTO).

Any other ideas?

other than something internal....not really

you test the ground wire to make sure there isn't high resistance on it? maybe the wire is deteriorating, or it's connection to the frame

Might seem like a silly question, but how's your ventilation? Do you have the amp directly mounted on something with no spacers in between?

Are you only using the sub channel @ 4 ohms?
