14.4 volts is 14.4 volts so if he is maintaining a stable voltage, why he need to upgrade a battery? the volts from a redtop are no different then a duralast battery. i figured this was common knowledge?

Man just read what you posted again......please...........I was talking about the reference that you said " a new battery won't make your volts louder"..........

Now, I have a degree in Electronics and Computer Engineering yet, for the life of me I never knew volts got loud!!!

Unless you have some common knowledge that the rest of us don't........of course:crazy:

dude it was sarcasim and read my post i said try the alt first and if you get a constant voltage then there is no need to upgrade the battery. jesus christ man learn how to comprehend

agreed, but the apeal of the optimas are not the voltage they maintain....its the little extras you get...such as in the yellow top, where you can "deep Cycle" the battery numerous times before it will die....or in the Red top where you get a shit ton of CCAs
