I did my 02 tahoe which run are u having trouble with... grounding the battery is easy the hardest is ground to engine block but on my alt there was a nut that said GND on the alternator bracket the power to batt is easy find the red nut remove it bolt on ur wire and bolt it to ur positive terminal PM with questions... probably wont check thread.

i've just never touched the wiring in my car before. I don't want to destroy my car cuz i mess it up.

It's easy man. Just find the original wires and double em up with 0/1 awg...
