Big 3 made things worse

Here's a picture of the wire I cut. This was the wire closest to the Fuse.

Cliff notes for people who don't want to read all the posts

Did the Big 3.

Car starting "clicking" when I attempted to turn it on. Have to move the key to the off/on position 3-5 times to turn it on. It does this when it sits for a while.

Installed a new system which is 1500 watts(old was 800 watts). Turned it on for about five minutes to set the amplifier gains.

Car now stumbles like it's going to die when I come to a stop. It started doing this AFTER I connected the new Amp/subs.

Tested the battery and alternator at Autozone. Both are fine! Checked battery connections/MAF sensor

My problems:

Car clicks when it sits for awhile

Car stumbles at idle

When I turn the key it clicks then the radio turns off, then comes on. Its not the starter clicking/spinning. Just one click then the gauges/radio turn off then come on.

whoa..... burned posi at the fuse.... definitely some bad connections.... go thru and clean ALL of them really really good, batt terminals, factory wires, B3 wires.... everything that has a direct connection to that batt, alt and engine/chassis.....

wire brush, electrical cleaner, etc.... the works...

All connections are clean. I even disconnected all of Big 3 connections and it was still stumbling.

The only connection that MIGHT be bad is the negative side post. When I removed the battery today it looked the the threads were kinda stripped. I'm going to buy a top post terminal for the negative side and see if it changes anything.

uh no lol. my starter wire goes to the positive post. i could be wrong on ur car but i dont think it is supposed to b on the negative. how many stock wires did u have on ur pos. terminal?
2 I think, not really sure since they all go into one terminal and are covered by wire loom.

the stripped neg could cause a problem like that.... how exactly do you have those wires connected to the battery if ur not already utilizing the top posts?? with a just a couple of terminal adapters with the denter taps? I had nothing but problems with those stripping out the terminals on batts, ended up having to put a helicoil in the batt terminals to hold them in and still had some trouble....

Positive side:

Side terminal-Stock wires/stock bolt

Negative side:

Side terminal- Stock wires with Stinger bolt/terminal. I have the 0 gauge neg to ground on the end of this bolt.

Top post- Not being used

The negative side terminal is worn more than normal because it's always getting disconnected when I work on my car.
