Big 3 ford explorer questions

I know that this has been answers many times in general, but I was hoping to find some in depth information. I am thinking about doing the big 3 to my 2005 explorer, but I'm scared todo something wrong that could lead to some major damage. I never had to worry about it until recently when I got my new system that is pushing 1700wrms, and I am lookin at getting one more sub to run at 1 ohm so instead of worrying about it later I'm going to fix it now. Does anyone know any sites with pictures and detailed information for my vehicle? Or can anyone give any pointers? Thanks.

im running 2k rms now off of stock alt and electrical with no problem in my 95 explorer. I am running a kinetik power cell too. Another guy on my team (who knows his stuff and has won 40+ first place finishes) has 4k rms running off stock alt and electrical with a kinetik as well in his Jeep. Big 3 wont hurt but I bet running like it is now wont hurt either. We both do plan to run the big 3 in the near future though. I don't think you can mess it up really unless you pull wires that have nothing to do with the big 3.

Bullshit

Yes, I know you are full of it. Think what you want, IDGAF. OP, it's all a learning experience so just use some common sense like serpent said and know what you are messing with or don't mess with it at all. Try youtubing it. It's hard to get good info on here with all these trolls crapping on anything anybody says.

lol.

The only thing you have to worry about is shorting a wire out or stripping the bolt off the top of your alt (I did that once).

What motor does your explorer have? I have a 4.6L and I have pictures of most of mine.

Like mentioned its pretty easy. I have an 04 explorer with 2k for the subs, and stock alt, with lots of 0 guage. Has been holding up very well, except for the car atleast.. Broke the hatch once so far..
