beyma comps??

Is that the user's fault, or the equipment's? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

If I just heard SI Mags in the first enclosure I heard them in, which was a ~60Hz fart box, I probably wouldn't think too highly of them as reference quality drivers either //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

I guess its different when people out here have 4 10" mid ranges on there rear deck and 4 mid ranges in the doors and pro audio horns. From what i have heard and have seen out here. They sound way to harsh.

EDIT: I think its both product and user error. More user error than product i guess...

dalucifer are you for real, or just being a hater??
he's not hating...i took him to a local car show and every car there(exepct 4 mine) used beymas...i went home with my ears ringing and i can tell he hated the sound most cars was putting out

Beyma and Pro-Audio in general is pretty big in NY. They get very loud but if your into SQ, look elsewhere. The only Beyma car audio speaker I heard that I liked was one of there lower end tweets, the rest is pure SPL.

errr they do well in sq contests. how you set them up is a big deal. i wouldnt throw 4 mids and 6 mid basses into anything. from what i heard in demo vehicles (alot more subtle than what you guys are talking about) was some very dynamic speakers that sounded believable (not overly warm) and extremly detailed but they have the potential to get very loud.

I think that's the problem, the idea in NY is you throw as many speakers you can in a car and call it a day. No tuning, no staging, nothing. I would hope they sound better than in the setup's I've heard.

any speaker is going to sound bad if you throw lots of them into a car with no tuning, I don't care if it's a brax or a xplod component!
