Beware AQ HDC3 Issues ??

i run 2 ab 15's,the hd models which looks just like a hdc3,i also run a ia 40.1 on them daily with no problems,at sbn i won the stock 2 class with a 152 score,tough *** subs no doubt.

My buddy blew his HDC3 15 and I'm not really sure how he did it. DJ said that the coil was still orange, but broke into pieces. I doubt that he was bottoming it out with only a 2500.1 @ 2 ohms.

It does come down to the end user.
I've given a type-r 10" upwards of 2000 watts, 4 times its rated power, for periods of 30 seconds or more. And that thing only has a 2" coil on it.

But I sure as hell wouldn't recommend that to ANYONE for daily.
