between hifonics and viper

Well this would be for dual 4 ohm 2 12" l7's and i would be running at 1 ohm. Pretty good size box around 5-6 cubes so about 1300-1500 watts would be great. hifonics bx1500 would be 229 shipped from ikesound and but then i read the birth sheet thread and it was only 13xx something. which still isn't bad for the price but just don't know if i want something that doesn't do what it says.

viper 1200.1 is 220 shipped and does 1200 at 1 ohm but the dynamic power is 1500 and it is refurbished.

I know a lot of people like the hifonics, and i know the viper is a solid amp but have heard a few bad things, just want some more info if u guys got some.

trust me there are more bad things about hifonics than there are about viper.

Both will give you the same amount of power, I would choose based on price and how it would look in the final install.

id go with the hifonics since the viper is refurbished. the viper will still get the job done though

ya i had the hifonics bx1500 its alright, takes so much power, i say the viper would be better though, i wasnt impressed at all with the hifonics

I like my viper a lot and would recommend it. I haven't had experiance with the hifonics though.
