Better Understanding of my Amplifier (help needed)

Okay I've read every sticky on this forum including the amplifiers, gains, setting tuturials, etc.

I have a Soundstream Van Gogh 1600.2 amp...capable of

400x2 4ohms

800x2 2ohms

1600x1 bridged 4ohms mono

my question after reading amplifier setting tutorial, Is it possible for me to run my VGA to my front components without actually blowing it?

Hertz HSK 165 L

125watts RMS 4ohms

250watts PEAK 4ohms

If i set the gains real low and according to this table chart i got from the amp setting tutorial sticky

Table:50 Watts -- 1.0 Ohms, V=7.07 -- 2.0 Ohms, V=10.0 -- 4.0 Ohms, V=14.14 -- 8.0 Ohms, V=20.0

100 Watts -- 1.0 Ohms, V=10.0 -- 2.0 Ohms, V=14.14 -- 4.0 Ohms, V=20.0 -- 8.0 Ohms, V=28.28

150 Watts -- 1.0 Ohms, V=12.24 -- 2.0 Ohms, V=17.32 -- 4.0 Ohms, V=24.49 -- 8.0 Ohms, V=34.64

200 Watts -- 1.0 Ohms, V=14.14 -- 2.0 Ohms, V=20.0 -- 4.0 Ohms, V=28.28 -- 8.0 Ohms, V=40.0

I can get the recommended wattage without going over the peak limit of my components thus not blowing them at all...

Any one with experience or educated opinions let me know...And I have read everything here so I'm just trying to better understand amps and their limits

by the way my amp puts out 26.6V at max setting using the digital multimeter

now i have another problem right now...i don't know i'm still finding whats up but

my vga 1600.2 is messed up or im doing something wrong

using my digital multimeter and using a test tone 1000hz track at 3/4 the full volume i notice that on my left channel input in my amp reads something like 11.9v on the multimeter but on the right channel input it reads something like 30.9v...anyone know how this is happening?

double check your settings and crossover and what not.you may have one channel set diff than the other

i haven't hooked up the speakers to the amp only the power ground and rem plus the RCA's

I've checked the HU and everything seems normal

my soundstream vga has 2 channels left and right and my left channel is registering only 4volts on the digital multimeter and 14volts on the right channel....anyone else has any inputs on this?
