ok after looking around at some of the ones that were posted here I'm leaning towards the FI SSD. What would be a louder two 12's or 1 15? Also what is a good budget amp to push these since my bazooka won't be able to handle it. I"m trying to keep the price for the speakers and amp under $600.

pure noob question. the answer is. it depends. plain and simple. its not always about cone area.

I never claimed to know everything about subs thats why I'm on here asking questions. I know it depends on setups but like I said in another post I would be running either setup in a ported box and the amp I'm still in the market for one.

2 -12s will have more cone area and more motor strength. Also more cooling. If your comparing the same subs 2 12's will be louder then 1 15 if you use the proper enclosure. Inncorrect enclosure/install can break a system.

Get a DC Level 4 15" and the Audioque AQ1200D.

That'll be less than $600 and it'll sound awesome if you build the proper enclosure...
