Better then JL

I'm new to this site been looking around for awhile and decide to join. I used to be big into audio but had gotten away from it for awhile, but starting to get back into it again. Right now I have 2 12" pioneer's with a bazooka ELA1800 in the trunk of a 1999 Altima. I was inpressed by the pioneer's since I got them for so cheap. But now I want more! A friend of mine has been talking none stop about how good his system is he has 2 12" jlw3 in a ported box that is 4.5cuft and a jl 600/1 amp in a extended cab colorado. I used to be a big fan of jl and had a few sets of them over the years but I"m ready for something different. I want to build a system that is cheaper then my firends to prove to him just because he has jl doesn't mean he can't be beat. I've been looking at either a pair of re *** 12's or 1 15" re ***. Either setup I get would be in a ported box. I have two questions would my bazooka amp be able to push the re 12's or the 15 good and would either of these setups be louder then my friends to 12 w3's?

Ok wasn't sure about the amp it says it does 800rms @ 2ohm but didn't know if it really did that or not. And yeah the speakers I am looking at are the RE audio *** they say the took the place of the SE model.

Probably doesn't do nearly that much. I'd say just pick up an amp in the classifieds or a hifonics brutus if you're cheap like 98% of ca.com

yep or DC lvl 2, they are nasty little budget subs good for 500w each and move some serious air
