Better Sub than Mag with same depth

^^^if yall idiots can read what he said...he needs something better or close to a mag with less then a 7" mounting depth...i don't know any subwoofer better then a mag but BM which is the little brother of the mag has a mounting depth less then 7" inches and its almost the same of course with less power then the mag...check it out...i have one for sale in my thread plus video previews of it....and the fi Q is closer to the SI BM and not the SI MAG...fi new sub BL will be in the class of the mag....since the Q is more SQ oriented and the BTL is more SPL oriented...the BL will be in between the Q and BTL

He wants a sub with the same depth of the mag or shallower. The Q looks almost exactly the same as the Mag, and has the same dimensions. Tard.

Cost is not a problem. My install is in a 2005 Ford SuperCrew, see my sig. I am about to put a seat lift back in(had one took it out, now I want it back). This allows up to just under 7" of mounting depth. The reason I know this is because I had a Mag before and I had to take the seat lift out. I was going to keep it out but, want bigger sound than my pair of IDQ's can deliver. Sorry for the rambling. I will more than likely end up with another Mag as I have the box and have around 1K of power @ 4 ohms ready for it. I just wanted to see what other options there might be. Does not look like many.

doesn't matter if it looks the same...it depends on how it performs it's really no contest....because they both perform the same...check out RoE they put them in the class in SQ test...and with SI mag being the best sub out there and saying the BM is the same the only difference is output...i'd say BM over Q

Try contacting SI and see if they are willing to make a custom mag using neodymium type magnets which are considerably stronger yet smaller then a normal magnet.

I know for a fact should they decided to so such a thing it would definetly cost more on your part, but as for how much thats between you and them. It is however an option that would solve your mounting depth problem.

Don't need a custom Mag. The Mag fits just fine. Neat idea though.
