better pics of my painting , 56K beware

looks great

i did somthing like that to my t3002's,

kinda fun sanding and making a color schem.

but how do you add the clear coat?

does the paint need to be dry first.

The paint system I used is a 3 step process , base coat , color coat , clear coat.

but how do you add the clear coat? does the paint need to be dry first.
When you are done with your last coat of color wait 15 to 30 minutes for the color coat to dry. (wait 2 or 3 hours for the paint to fully dry and wet sand with 1000 grit if needed) Then start spraying the clear , waiting 5 to 10 minutes between coats , after you get 3 or 4 coats on , wait another 30 minutes then spray on a last "wet" coat , just a little thicker than the previous coats . Let dry a couple days before touching it . Then you can polish it and wax it .

P.S. make sure the clear coat your are using is compatable with your color coat (i.e. lacquer on lacquer , enamel on enamel) or all kinds of nasty things will happen .
