ok right now I have pioneer TS-A6972R 6x9's in my rear deck, I am planning on getting the same type but 6.5's for my door, now the question is should I replace my 6x9's with 6.5's in the future, it would require some fabrication but would it be worth the work and would you notice a difference???

id get some better 6.5s for your doors, pioneers are alright basically u get what u pay for, and as for upgrading your 6x9s as a rear fill, i wouldnt worry bout em cos if u get say a nice 6.5 comp set up front that are amped you'd be fine and the pioneers would just act as a fill

pioneers arent bad but for a front stage there is alot better and a component set would be better than coaxils too!!!!!

my dad has some Pioneer Premier coaxils and they sound good too, and good mid-bass so its not like pioneer is complete garbage, im just tellin ya there is more out there than Pioneer

yeah I understand that there's alot better than pioneer, I'm just saying that they havent ever gave me a prob and I am also tight for money, but also I 'm thinking about replacing my 6x9's with 6.5's and I was wondering if I could cut some round spacers out of wood and screw them into the rear deck where the 6x9's were and have the basket of the 6.5's rest in the hole of the existing speakers
