Just looking at the internal looks to be a class A/B amplifier.

Cant really say much about it other then that can't see what transistors are being used.

Measure the output voltage of the the power supply then look up the current capabilities of the power supply transistors and that will give you a pretty good indication of what that amp can actually really put out.

These amps haven't been known to be good amps, but $40 pretty **** cheap.

I don't have a woofer tester to find out the specs of these woofers...

when i read stuff like this i realize just how spoiled i am when it comes to where i live and the convenience of shopping. friday i went to three different best buys looking for a laptop in a matter of an hour. and there were still two more in the area i could of went to. lol ive got 4 malls within a 20 mile radius. i remember going to visit my cousins in rural tennessee. going to the mall was an entire day thing since it took 2 hours to drive there and 2 hours back! sorry to go off tangent as i dont know much about amp internals just wanted to share about there not being a best buy in the area ha ha

doesn't look bad at all for a dirt cheap semi-powerful 2 ch.

has the same basic layout as the profile ap1000 on ampguts.

the fan looks pretty gimmicky -- the location seems pointless.
